Jim Swatzell has lived in Greeneville since he was two years old. He has been married to Jerrie for 35 years. Together, they have two grown sons, Josh and Justin. Josh lives in Greeneville, Tennessee and Justin lives in Tampa, Florida. Jim is a QE at Amsee Ltd. and Jerrie is blessed to be their homemaker. 

 

     Jokingly, Jim states, “I tell people that I started church 9 months before I was born and I thank God for Christian parents who loved the Lord.” Jim was saved at the age of 9. Later on, Jim met Jerrie and they were married 15 months later. 

 

     A few years later, Jim was ordained as Deacon at Calvary Baptist church. He has served as a deacon there and at First Baptist Church in Greeneville. Jim says that his gift is serving and he loves helping people; especially those who are facing a crisis. His prayer is for Freedom Fellowship Greeneville to reach people for Christ by loving them unconditionally and discipling them to become productive children of God.   

 

     Jim now serves as a deacon at Freedom Fellowship in Greeneville. Jerrie also embodies the same serving spirit as her husband and oversees the Women’s Ministry, Women of Joy.
